There is a whole section on burnout, a common and important cause of anxiety, and the book is full of practical tips for how to manage both anxiety and burnout, such as what to do if you are signed off work, tapping into the right side of your brain and discovering Wilbur the Anxiety Monster!

There are whole chapters on the importance of sleep, noticing and gaining control of our breathing and the role of medical treatments such as therapy and medication.

I can't wait for you to read this book!

My main purpose in writing Your Worry Makes Sense is to help empower people to better understand anxiety, and so become equipped to manage and overcome it. I truly believe that everyone can make progress once they can make sense of their anxiety, and that small, manageable changes, practised over time, can produce amazing results.

I have loved the challenge of making the text enjoyable to read and easy to relate to, and am thrilled by how Hannah's delightful illustrations bring my ideas to life in such a memorable and powerful way
